as you may know, I'm in Israel now.
It's very tiring to speak hebrew all day!
Today I played a game called names. Here's how to play:
what you need:
1.A basketball
2. at least 3 people
how to play:
Throw ball to a player and say their name.The ball must bounce once. If the player catches the ball he/she throws to a player.If he/she does not catch the ball or the ball bounces twice, you lose a life. When you lose three lives, the other players decide a name and don't tell you what it is. Then you keep playing with your name being whatever they changed it to. Ex: before - Raizi; after - ketchup.
After school I went on a cable car from near my school down to the beach. Here are some pictures:
Down at the beach, we saw fishermen and when they caught a small fish they'd throw it to the waiting stray cats. Here are the cats eating the fish.

ReplyDeleteWhat fun it must be, to live, even though just for half a year, in a different country, speaking a different language (stick with it; I know that after a short while, you'll be speaking Hebrew like a native sabra) and experiencing all kinds of different things.
Keep a journal, and years from now, you'll be able to read it and remember fondly all that happened to you.
Grandpa Mel (writing this in Florida, the ONLY state -- yes, the only one - that did not have snow in all or part of the state as of yesterday. Even Hawaii had snow -- at the top of their mountains.)
